Verificaci\u00f3n y validaci\u00f3n de los resultados del proceso de certificaci\u00f3n de interrupci\u00f3n de la enfermedad de Chagas, realizaron la comisi\u00f3n internacional de expertos designada por la Organizaci\u00f3n Panamericana de la Salud (OPS) y el Ministerio de Salud y Protecci\u00f3n Social, en la escuela de la vereda El Mestizo, municipio de El Zulia.<\/p>\n
All\u00ed analizaron el impacto del control vectorial de la mano de estudiantes y comunidad, jornada de trabajo que incluy\u00f3 visitas para verificar las medidas de prevenci\u00f3n adoptadas por la poblaci\u00f3n frente al transmisor del par\u00e1sito Tripanosoma Cruzi, y el seguimiento a los tamizajes realizados en el Hospital Juan Luis Londo\u00f1o de El Zulia.<\/p>\n
Asimismo, se realizaron entrevistas con comunidades, autoridades locales y actores del Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud; tambi\u00e9n se hizo revisi\u00f3n de las acciones para brindar informaci\u00f3n en salud, educaci\u00f3n sanitaria y participaci\u00f3n social enfocadas a la promoci\u00f3n y prevenci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
El an\u00e1lisis permitir\u00e1 establecer si se redujo el riesgo frente a la enfermedad, y emitir, si se cumplen las condiciones, una certificaci\u00f3n internacional de control de la transmisi\u00f3n vectorial.<\/p>\n
